Audiometric Booth - PriceSmart Wholesale Clubs

The Problem

PriceSmart Wholesale Clubs made the decision to offer hearing and vision screenings in several locations across Guatemala. As such, small format patient privacy rooms needed to be installed to afford the necessary space to conduct the screenings. The solution needed to be modular to one day accommodate extended services, such as school physicals and immunizations.

The Project Parameters:

The test rooms were to be installed near the in-house vision and hearing center in 8’x9’ configurations, each with its own rough-in electrical option. The client requested a solution with sound control windows and doors.

The Noise Barriers Solution:

Featuring Noise Barriers’ patented and third party-tested noise absorbing QuietMod panels, QuietLite windows, and QuietSwing STC 45 rated doors, QuietTest Audiometric Enclosures met the demands of the project both in terms of achievable results and efficient delivery times. The ease of shipping as well as assembling and reconfiguring our rooms set us apart from the competition.

The Results:

In 2021, Noise Barriers installed one (1) enclosure in five (5) PriceSmart locations in Guatemala, with more to be installed in 2022 across 40+ clubs in 13 countries.

The Bottom Line:

Our versatile design, ease of installation, performance, and product support ensured a successful deployment of each and every audiometric room, resulting in one happy customer.
