Sound Control Windows at The Dave Ramsey Show
The Problem
Dave Ramsey is a personal finance personality, author, businessman, and radio show host of the nationally broadcast program, The Dave Ramsey Show. With growing popularity and expanded talk radio offerings, he saw the need for a new, custom broadcast studio. When designing his new headquarters, aptly named Ramsey Solutions, in Franklin, Tennessee, he had a clear design vision: he requested that the broadcast studio be viewable to guests waiting or enjoying coffee from the Baker Street Coffee Shop in the lobby.
The Project Parameters:
To fulfill the request of studio visibility, a full, floor-to-ceiling window assembly was required to keep sightlines unhindered.
The Noise Barriers Solution:
The Noise Barriers team provided a QuietLite® glass window wall, all field glazed, with no vertical or horizontal mullions. This design affords the guests an unobstructed, full width view into the recording studio and broadcast programs.
The Results:
A beautiful, acoustically sealed window assembly that exceeds Dave’s expectations and allows visitors a clear view of radio programs in-progress – surely a delight to Dave’s many fans. be installed in 2022 across 40+ clubs in 13 countries.
The Bottom Line:
Noise Barriers knew it wasn’t going to be easy to field glaze the butt glass, but the team knows what it takes and is happy to go above and beyond to give any client the celebrity treatment.
